(Me and Lightning only; anybody else who posts here will be ignored.) It was a foggy morning, though that wasn't to say that it wasn't absolutely beautiful. From the place that IceCap stood, the beautiful Yuunu Sea was visible for miles-- or maybe not miles, because of the fog. Behind him were most of the Fe'gan Mountains, and if one looked carefully, Basantha Shrine was visible, but just barely. It was cold, probably below freezing point. It was to be expected, however, since he was at such a high altitude. He watched thin streams of his breath curl upward, then gradually become invisible. He felt at peace with the world... But why was he here? Something inside him had pulled him in this direction, mentally, of course. He had felt a desire to come here, as though something had been waiting here for him. But he felt that he couldn't leave. What was this something? What had he subconsiously known was here? The only way to find out was to wait.

On this morning, in spite of the fog and cold, Hiddenstar wanted to go and see the Yuunu Sea from the mountaintops. He began walking, and the wind picked up, causing the snow to fly around as though chased by something. He caught a few flakes in his mouth, and they tasted good. As he neared the top of the mountain, where he would be able to view the sea, he noticed another pair of footprints leading up to the top of the mountain that looked over it. He walked slowly up the side of the mountain, hoping the other creature on the peak wasn't violent. If the creature lived here, then it would think that he was intruding on it's territory, and might attack him. He hoped that whatever was waiting for him was a nice creature. He had reached the top of the hill by this time, and noticed that the creature obviously didn't live on top of this hill. For one thing, if it lived here, it probably would have attacked him by now, and for another, it was very clean, as though regularly cleaned by a human or something similar; it's feathers, or what seemed to be feathers, shown brightly in the faint sunlight.

IceCap turned to see the familliar kuhna looking at him. Had they met before? Absolutely. Back at Terrace Park, and then again at an odd patch of land, both times with a few other creatures around. Of course, this was HiddenStar!
"Do I know you?" He asked, just to make sure it was Hiddenstar after all, and not just someone who looked a lot like him.
Of course, IceCap wasn't at all a violent creature. He had been born and raised in captivity by an owner/trainer who did seem to have a lot of experience. But she didn't visit as much any more, leaving a sitter in charge. This had allowed IceCap to escape the house alone, unnoticed for a few days on several occasions.

"Yes, I know you," Hiddenstar replied. He had played with IceCap a few times, but there had been other pets around on those occasions. Now he was meeting with IceCap for the first time without other pets being around, and he looked foward to what they would do together that day. "So, what do you want to do?" He asked.
Like IceCap, Hiddenstar had been raised in captivity. He had grown up in a pen full of other pets, and was glad that now he was allowed to escape from the noise of the pen. It was rather interesting that he was meeting IceCap in this fashion; he had seen him there, and had been afraid that he had met a wild creature that would not take kindly to him tresspassing on it's territory. But it had turned out to be IceCap, which made him happy; he would not have liked to have met a wild creature.

IceCap was silent for a few seconds, then gestured towards the view. "Have a look," he said. Mostly, the landscape was comprised of trees, but also contained a human cottage here or there. Snow covered the ground both where he was standing, and on the slopes going down into a grassy valley.
He was glad to have a friend here, someone who he had known from before. That day at the park... had been interesting, to say the least.
But that was history now. For now, they were just up here. They could just enjoy the view, without a care in the world.
"Isn't it nice?" He asked.
